The Dassault Systèmes Foundation, a partner and historical sponsor of the UniLaSalle GeoLab, enables the Institute to participate actively in the Mission Ocean Program.
The ocean is a true ecosystem that is still little known and is the main regulator of the climate. The Dassault Systèmes Foundation, the French Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, ONISEP, Réseau Canopé and Ifremer have combined their skills to build an innovative educational program: Mission Ocean.
As part of this project, UniLaSalle students are working at the GeoLab on the production of 3D educational material for secondary school pupils.
Current projects focus on the efficiency of breakwaters, the design of connected artificial reefs, biomimicry, and energy production by wind turbines at sea.
The Dassault Systèmes Foundation also chose the Beauvais campus to shoot a video promoting the Foundation's various fields of activity. On this occasion, students and teacher-researchers had the opportunity to give their views.
