Julia DENIER, (Agriculture, 2019, Beauvais), saw her work carried out during her Master's thesis (MFE) published in one of the "Cahier de projet" of the Editions du GRET, a non-governmental organization whose mission is to fight against poverty and social inequality worldwide.
During her internship at the Centre de Coopération Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (CIRAD), Julia was particularly interested in the development strategy of agro-ecology in the Malagasy Grand Sud, which is also the title of the notebook in which she participated.
The 66 pages of the book, which you can consult below, constitute a feedback around the agroecological blocks of the Red Island, the success of this initiative in the change of scale in the sedimentary Andoy, and finally the emergence of a new agricultural model.
The continuation of Julia's career has been combined with UniLaSalle in the framework of a fixed-term contract dedicated to the valorisation of the RESIAR research project; it will continue with the realization of a thesis under the direction of Philippe Malagoli (INRAE / UCA), Christophe Jourdan (CIRAD) and Frédéric Gay (CIRAD) from March 2021.
