Thomas Dittly is the President of the Rouen Student Office for the academic year 2020-2021. He explains the reasons for his candidacy and the projects he wishes to carry out during his mandate.
Can you introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Thomas DITTLY, I am 21 years old and I come from the South of France. I am the new president of UniLaSalle Rouen. Our team was formed in the first year when we arrived at the school and we have never left each other. Our BDE is made up of 20 people, each one more motivated than the other.
What motivated you to apply?
We organized with our whole group of friends the integration of the first years. Afterwards, we presented ourselves twice for the BDE election, the first time in the 1st year and the second time in the 2nd year. And then after the third attempt, we were finally elected. This candidature for the BDE was for us the focus of our schooling and a way for us to feel useful within our school. This experience will allow us to acquire skills and gain maturity.
What are the actions that you are going to carry out this year?
We would like to implement the following actions:
- Emphasize the clubs within the school, giving them more opportunities but also funding.
- Lose but also improve the events such as the Unilympiades between Beauvais, Rennes and Rouen, the Christmas dinner, the ski trip...
- We plan to organize an Alumni Day during January and also the creation of a sports tournament with the help of BDS between all the schools in Rouen!
