"One or two years of PACES is exhausting, both morally and physically. Everyone says so, and yet we can only understand it after having been there too!
I did a year of PCEM1 (former PACES) and then a year of PACES, and despite all my efforts, I never made it to the second year. So I reoriented myself, like most students. The most logical course, and the one that was closest to Medicine, was to go to Biology Faculty.
But then I realized that it was not for me, I wanted to be an engineer. I therefore chose UniLaSalle, for its "Agri-food" course and in order to bring me a more general view of science and the technical knowledge that I did not have.
The numerous job opportunities, the engineering network, the proximity to companies and the ease with which students can do semesters of study were undeniable assets of the school for me.
My studies in PACES had allowed me to acquire solid scientific bases, which helped me a lot to validate this year and to continue my studies.
I was able to develop both personally and professionally. I would strongly advise students who are reorienting themselves after a PACES to choose a school that corresponds to them and that brings a future, UniLaSalle is a wise choice!"
