From September 26 to October 17, the students and employees of UniLaSalle schools participated in the "My Little Planet" challenge.
The objective was simple: to earn as many points as possible for their team by completing ecological challenges and validating them via an application! For three weeks, 23 teams from Amiens, Beauvais, Rennes and Rouen competed against each other by completing a maximum number of challenges with a positive impact on the planet.
Each team had an ambassador whose role was to boost the team throughout the challenge.
A commitment from students and employees
Meetings, information and discoveries were on the agenda! Nearly 200 people actively took part in the competition. 2085 challenges were completed. Among them, 68 people took up the "save me please" challenge and saved expired food products, 48 made a vegetarian week or 25 people limited themselves to showers of less than 4 minutes. The challenges proposed by the application were varied and could be to collect waste near your home, to travel by bike, to build a birdhouse or to participate in a workshop to raise awareness about climate issues. There was something for everyone!
As part of the challenges, 1M liters of water were saved, 101 kg of waste and 8 tons of CO2 equivalent were also avoided!
