I embarked on the Professional Bachelor’s in Sales Engineering for Animal Nutrition after completing a BTS in livestock. This course was a logical next step in my training, which had previously been focused on equine and bovine livestock. The course is taught by professors from the university, the CFA and UniLaSalle. I really appreciated their complementary expertise. Even during the taught part of the course, I met different people every day. It was a very rewarding experience. Alongside the teaching, I worked as an apprentice at the AGRIAL agricultural cooperative. I received excellent support there. I met farmers in the field and found out about the day-to-day work of a sales engineer. I was given a range of technical and business-related tasks, such as producing a study on mixed rations, organizing meetings and carrying out monthly monitoring of dairy farms. Graduating from this course opened up a host of employment opportunities for me. I have really found my niche – as the saying goes, « Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life! »
