Admission requirements
To enter the Erasmus Mundus Master program in Plant breeding, you must meet the following prerequisites:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture/agronomy, biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or
- Master 1 in genetics, molecular biology or related fields
- Language level: B2 in English (IELTS, TOEFL)
If you wish to enroll at the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia in Master 2, a B1 level in Spanish is required (DELE, ALTE).
Your application must be submitted before the deadline.

Admission schedule
1st admission session from October to January
The Erasmus Mundus master's program in plant breeding (emPLANT) is open to students from all over the world.
Scholarship and self-funded applicants must submit their applications via the same online application form, hosted on the emPLANT master's program website.
2nd admission session from end of 1st session to February 28
This session is dedicated solely to students who are self-financed or financed by grants from outside Erasmus Mundus. By registering for the 2nd admission session, you are not eligible for the Erasmus scholarship.
UniLaSalle welcomes Master 2 students on this course, developed in partnership with the University of Rouen and the University of Caen.
Admission requirements (Master 2 only)
- You have completed the first year of a Master's degree in Biosciences, plant sciences, ecoproduction and biovalorization at the University of Rouen Normandy or Caen.
- You have completed the first year of a Biosciences specialization at the University of Rouen Normandy or Caen.
- You have completed the 4th year of UniLaSalle's Agronomy and Agro-Industries engineering program.
- You have completed at least a 4th year of biology or an equivalent degree in agronomic sciences at another French or foreign university.
Admission procedure
Selection by application.
Pre-registration on the Université de Rouen website: see the page dedicated to the EcoBioValo Master's program on the Université de Rouen website;
Once you have pre-registered, you can access the application file, which should be returned to the Master's coordinators (names and addresses given in the file) by June 15;
Successful applicants can register with the Registrar's Office at the University of Rouen or Caen.
Registrations are accepted from April 23 to May 15, at the University of Rouen, or from April 23 to June 15, at the University of Caen (You can choose to register at either institution).
Admission requirements
- French or foreign candidates who have completed an M1 or a foreign Bachelor's degree with a major in biology, ecology, life and earth sciences; agricultural engineers.
- By way of exception: students with a L3 degree or equivalent whose academic qualifications or professional experience guarantee the excellence of the course.

Future students may have very different backgrounds: agronomist, landscape gardener, architect, urban planner, geographer, biologist....
The MSc Urban Agriculture and Green Cities is open to :
- French or foreign candidates holding a Master 1 (or equivalent Bac+4).
- exceptionally, students holding a Licence 3 or equivalent degree, whose academic qualifications or professional experience guarantee the excellence of the training.
They may be recent graduates or working professionals.

Admission requirements
The course is open to employees, students and job-seekers. Your application is eligible if you meet the following criteria:
- Engineering degree or 5-year university diploma
- Master's degree from a management school
- RNCP level I title
- Master 1 or bac +4, with at least 3 years' professional experience
- Foreign diploma equivalent to the French qualifications required above.
Some candidates may be admitted on an exceptional basis.
In terms of qualifications, all disciplines are eligible, and no specific pre-requisites are required. The aim of the course is to cross cultures and profiles, enriching exchanges between lecturers and students.
The class is made up of people currently working in a company, local authority or design office wishing to acquire skills in the field of the circular economy in order to carry out an eco-innovative project (processes/products/services), people undergoing retraining, and young people who have just completed a bac+5. Profiles from architects, economists, political scientists, engineers, computer scientists, etc. have already been accepted.

- an engineering degree accredited by the Commission des titres d'ingénieurs (CTI)
- diploma from a business school (Master's level) member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles
- university Master 2
- holders of a Bac+4 diploma (Master 1 university degree) with 3 years' professional experience relevant to the course.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Level of education required
- Bac+5, French or foreign - graduates of engineering and business schools, management schools and holders of a Master's degree.
- Bac+4 - for candidates with at least 3 years' professional experience.
By way of exception, applications may be considered from :
- holders of Bac+3 with solid professional experience,
- holders of Bac+4 with no professional experience,
- validation of professional experience (VAE, VAP).
Certifications required
- Level B2 in English for non-native English speakers
- Level B1 in French for non-native French speakers
- Driving license (B) recommended (many work immersions, particularly in rural areas)
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
The admission process takes place in two stages. Admission results will be communicated in the week following the interview.
1- Administrative & academic analysis
Administrative validation of the application, followed by a study of academic prerequisites, experience and the coherence of the project with the training program.
1 session / month between February and July
2- Bilingual French-English interview by a panel of judges:
- to assess the match between the professional project and the chosen course of study;
- assess the relevance of the project in terms of professional integration;
- assess the candidate's skills and reasoning abilities.
