Three students in food and health were named winners of a competition organized by PéPite A2U Hauts-de-France, on the occasion of the Business Expo Amiens 2022 for their entrepreneurial project BellyCare.
Melissa Bertin, Maxime Blanc and Rémy Degrolard, three students in their 5th year of Food & Health, have been named PéPite A2U winners, a competition that rewards the best student entrepreneurial innovations in the Hauts-de-France.
BellyCare, a young start-up labeled as an entrepreneur by UniLaSalle, is aimed at people suffering from digestive disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome, a pathology causing abdominal pain that officially concerns about 5% of the French population.
The offer proposed by the Lasallian students, with a therapeutic vocation, will make it possible to accompany these sufferers, thanks to a range of adapted prepared meals. This system can be completed by a dietetic follow-up operated by a certified health professional if necessary.
The BellyTeam's ambition is to distribute its meals via home delivery, but also by tackling corporate catering.
This regional recognition allows the team to obtain a check of 1000 euros which will allow them to make their future communication supports. The entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to use it on May 5th in Amiens: BellyCare also wins a stand for the Business Expo by Infinity, the trade show dedicated to the professionals of Picardy, which will gather 300 local exhibitors, which will take place in Mégacité, the exhibition and congress park of the agglomeration.
