What is an engineering school with integrated preparatory classes?
An integrated preparatory engineering school offers a complete five-year curriculum, with the first two years replacing the traditional preparatory class. This model enables students to progressively acquire the scientific and technical foundations while benefiting from an adapted pedagogical environment, without having to sit the post-prepa competitive entrance exams. Learning is enriched by projects, internships and exposure to the world of engineering right from the first year. This pathway offers ideal continuity towards the engineering diploma, guaranteeing personalized support and early professionalization.
How do I join the preparatory cycle?
Admission by application and interview
The pre-engineering programs in Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences and Life & Environmental Sciences (international track) are open to students who have :
- a general baccalaureate
- STAV baccalaureate
- an STL baccalaureate
The Energy and Digital pre-engineering cycle is accessible after :
- a general baccalaureate with scientific options
- STI2D baccalaureate
For baccalaureate holders (general and technological series) as well as for baccalaureate +1 candidates wishing to change direction, applications are made via Parcoursup.

Must be enrolled in one of the following courses:
- 1st year of CPGE (classe prépa aux grandes écoles)
- Licence 1 or 2
