In a series of videos produced by Thotis, the digital media dedicated to career guidance, UniLaSalle invites you to step into the shoes of a student engineer for a day. In this second episode, Samuel, in his 2nd year of integrated preparatory studies at UniLaSalle Amiens, presents his typical day at the school.

After a scientific Terminale, Samuel chose to enroll in UniLaSalle's integrated Energy - Digital preparatory program for three main reasons: the emphasis placed on applied projects, the mutual support and human dimension, and the close relationship with his teachers. In this video, he shares with us what he particularly appreciates about his engineering training.

After a lecture on the mathematics of signals, the student takes us with him to the factory-school, where he learns how to use robots, PLCs, conveyors and other automatic systems. Then it's on to MakerSpace, the space dedicated to prototyping, where Samuel can develop his entrepreneurial project. Practical training is a major part of his curriculum, which he sees as a big plus compared to other preparatory courses. The day ends with English classes, where the international dimension is addressed.
