Students in the emPLANT+ Erasmus Mundus Master's program have returned to the Beauvais campus! An opportunity for two alumni to talk about their professional and international careers.
On August 24, 2023, the Beauvais campus hosted the traditional ceremony of the emPLANT+ Erasmus Mundus program, for which UniLaSalle is project coordinator. The event brought together some sixty people to bid farewell to the students of emPLANT+ class 1 (2021-2023) and welcome class 3 (2023-2025).
For the occasion, 2 emPLANT alumni (2019-2021) were present to retrace their careers and talk about their international experience:
- Ana Paola Valladares (mobility path: UniLaSalle Beauvais, France then Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain) is now working as a Data Analyst at Arvalis in Toulouse.
- Feras Hadid (mobility path: Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden, then University of Helsinki, Finland) is doing a PhD at Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
All this in the presence of UniLaSalle's teacher-researchers and part of the emPLANT+ consortium: the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the University of Milan (Italy) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). Our Austrian partner (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, BOKU) is present online.
The third emPLANT+ class, which this year begins its two years of international study, is made up of 24 students of 16 different nationalities. Among them, 8 students of seven nationalities are staying at UniLaSalle Beauvais to follow their first year of the Master's program with our French 4ᵉ year students in the Plant Breeding track.
