UniLaSalle Amiens hosted Numériqu'elles, a forum dedicated to secondary school girls.
Organized on the initiative of the Mission égalité filles-garçons, this event highlighted the opportunities offered by the digital sector, while combating the stereotypes still too prevalent in this field.
A day of discovery, practice and exchange.
The Numériqu'elles forum offered participants a variety of activities:
- hands-on workshops to explore technologies and better understand their uses
- meetings with digital professionals, offering inspiring role models
- discussion sessions to reflect on the weight of stereotypes in career choices.
These moments of discovery and sharing helped to demystify the digital world, often perceived as reserved for an elite or associated with masculine figures.
The “Ambassadrices du numérique” project
The event is part of a wider project: “Ambassadrices du numérique”, which aims to extend the approach by helping middle and high school girls to become active agents of change in their careers.
By giving them the tools to explore the digital world, the aim is also to broaden their horizons and enable them to project themselves into these varied and promising professions.
Acting for an inclusive digital world
At UniLaSalle Amiens, we are convinced that equal opportunities require a more balanced representation of women in the digital sector. Hosting events like Numériqu'elles is a concrete way of contributing to this ambition.
