The new school year continues at UniLaSalle Rouen with the arrival of the campus' various Masters classes, and there's one class that stands out: the first intake of students from the Advanced-Master® Pogram Equine Science and Business.

We told you about it a short while ago with a portrait of Camille Eslan, the course's Pedagogical Coordinator, who also worked behind the scenes at the Paris Olympic Games. The Advanced-Master®️ Program MESB (Master of Equine Science & Business), the only training program specializing in equine industry management, makes its debut this week at UniLaSalle Rouen. This program, initially developed by the Institut Agro de Dijon, is now supported by UniLaSalle. This takeover enables us to maintain the program's strengths, while adding UniLaSalle's expertise and resources to offer a training program that is even more comprehensive and adapted to the industry's current needs.

Training supported by key industry players

The program benefits from invaluable support from major partners. Pôle Hippolia, a long-standing and major player in this training program, continues to play a key role in the professionalization of the sector. “This partnership is crucial to strengthening the link between equine industry professionals and training," explains Marie Orard, Director of Pôle Hippolia and responsible for this partnership.

UniLaSalle is also renewing its partnership with Kentucky, a region emblematic of the equestrian world, thus consolidating a valuable collaboration begun with Dijon's Institut Agro. At the same time, a new partnership with IFCE (Institut Français du Cheval et de l'Équitation) has been established. “This new partnership will strengthen our ties with key players in the French equine sector, and is also a vote of confidence for UniLaSalle," adds Camille Eslan. These collaborations enrich the program and offer students exceptional opportunities.

Students at the heart of innovation

This first class brings together a wide range of profiles from all over France! Jeanne, for example, is a graduate of EM Normandie and also runs a Percheron horse farm. "Managing a breeding farm requires a wide range of skills. This Master's degree will help me to make our business a little more professional and broaden our opportunities in the equine sector, by giving me the tools I need to better meet the needs of the market”, she explains. For her and her fellow students, the MS MESB represents a unique opportunity to enter the equine industry in France, as well as internationally.

A program for a sustainable and structured equestrian future

The MESB Specialized Master's program doesn't just train experts. It also aims to transform the equine industry, by integrating issues of sustainability and cross-disciplinary skills. “We want our graduates to contribute to better structuring the industry, while integrating sustainable practices for both animals and human resources," explains Camille Eslan. With this first graduating class, UniLaSalle and its partners are helping to shape a more ethical and innovative future for the equine industry.
