Avril and UniLaSalle sign a partnership to jointly propose a better inclusion of the handicap in the world of higher education and work.
A win-win partnership
In keeping with Lasallian values, UniLaSalle wishes to put the human being at the center of education, to accompany towards success and to make a collective commitment to inclusion.
This year, UniLaSalle is welcoming more than 275 students with disabilities on our 4 campuses (Amiens, Beauvais, Rennes and Rouen). These students will be joining a company that is attentive to their needs and skills.
Avril, a major French agro-industrial group, has the ambition to act in favor of agricultural, food and environmental transitions. To do so, the teams wish to be accompanied in order to better respond to societal challenges.
This partnership is a partial response to one of Avril's 6 commitments for concrete and transformative action, which is "A collective and inclusive project".
A starting point for a joint commitment
The aim of this partnership is to initiate concrete actions such as visits to Avril's sites, observation days in companies and on UniLaSalle campuses, and feedback from both sides.
Events that will punctuate the calendar, enrich the reflections and act as closely as possible to the needs of both parties.
UniLaSalle Rennes, neighbor of the Avril site on the Ker Lann Campus
The launching of the agreement took place on the Avril site in Bruz (Ker Lann Campus), a few meters away from UniLaSalle Rennes | École des métiers de l'environnement. Nine students from the Rennes campus were invited. Among others, Octave, student Engineer of the environment and Tinka, a listening dog, a meeting which was born thanks to the student association Uni'Cap to help the hearing impaired.
Thank you for the invitation and good collaboration!
