Pierre Saulet, Pauline Louis and Romain Armand, teachers at UniLaSalle, have developed a teaching platform entirely dedicated to geomatics. The primary objective of this platform is to facilitate access to a set of educational resources for students, teachers and professionals. The online availability of this platform responds to the current dynamism of geomatics and its components: GIS (Geographic Information Systems), remote sensing and photogrammetry.
The platform offers training materials in geomatics as well as guides accessible to all on the use of several business software (ArcGIS Pro, ENVI, Agisoft Metashape). UniLaSalle students will also have access to a library of courses and tutorials created on ArcGIS StoryMap that can be used in the computer room as well as for distance learning. The platform also showcases the most successful student projects in geomatics.
This platform has been realized thanks to the ArcGIS Hub solution from ESRI, UniLaSalle's partner for more than 10 years. The ArcGIS Hub will eventually provide an overview of UniLaSalle's expertise in geomatics, from teaching to business services, and a detailed map of the Beauvais campus.
