The oldest solidarity event on the UniLaSalle Beauvais campus invites you to travel the world's festivals for an unforgettable evening on March 22!

Organized by a dynamic team of 83 4th-year students, the 74th Nuit de l'Institut will take place this Saturday, February 22, in the Agora at UniLaSalle Beauvais. As every year since 1950, proceeds from the gala will be donated to an association chosen by the organizing committee.

An exotic theme: Parties around the world

For this 2025 edition, the student organizers are offering a truly festive tour of the world. Each room will be decorated according to a different emblematic festival: Bastille Day, July 14th, Hot Air Balloon Festival, Venice Carnival, Bayonne Festival, Rio Carnival, and many others.

Émilie Bureau, president of the organizing association, takes us behind the scenes of this event:

Can you tell us about this year's theme and what inspired your choice?

“This year's theme is “Parties around the World”. This choice was born of a shared desire to bring a festive and cultural dimension to the event, while offering participants an exotic experience. Each room will feature an emblematic celebration from a different country, allowing guests to travel throughout the evening.”

What were the biggest challenges your team faced, and how did you manage to overcome them?

“The main challenge was to ensure fluid and effective communication within the 83-member team. To avoid losing information and ensure good coordination, we set up collaborative tools and organized regular meetings, while clearly defining everyone's roles. This organization enabled us to maintain a constant momentum and move forward serenely despite the large number of players involved.”

What surprises or new features can participants expect for this 2025 edition of the gala?

“This year, we've planned something new: connected light bracelets, which will align themselves to the beat of the music and accompany the highlights of the evening. This device will enhance the festive atmosphere and create additional interaction with participants.”

Emilie Bureau, Présidente de la 74e Nuit de l'Institut

This year, Nuit de l'Institut supports the “Les Emplaqués” association

For its 74th edition, Nuit de l'Institut has chosen to support the “Les Emplaqués” association, committed to the fight against leukemia. The association raises awareness of blood, plasma, platelet and bone marrow donation through sporting events and educational activities in schools. It also provides invaluable support to hospitalized children by financing projects and offering them moments of escape through outings and activities.
