Two research articles written by UniLaSalle associate professors highlight the advantages for students of this stay during their 3rd year of study.

Marie CHEDRU, associate professor in humanities and social sciences, has just published with Catherine DELHOUME and Mariia OSTAPCHUK two scientific articles on the results of surveys administered to UniLaSalle students going on a Go-LaSalle stay, the international mobility scheme offered to 3rd year students.

Effective since 2018, GO-LaSalle allows 3rd year students to develop, among other things, multicultural, intercultural and linguistic skills. The objective of the surveys administered each year to the students is to know if an evolution of these skills is perceptible for the students returning from their stay.

Indeed, these surveys, which have been conducted on each class of mobile students, have shown significant changes in both open-mindedness and a certain perspective on their own culture. We also note that the initiatives of students are also on the rise following a stay abroad.

Generally speaking, the survey shows that students return to UniLaSalle having acquired greater confidence in themselves and their abilities, and that this stay abroad will enable them to develop further, and even make them aware that a future abroad is now possible.
