An image association serving a strong territorial anchorage
As founding members of the Rev'Agro cluster, alongside the Beauvaisis agglomeration community, ISAGRI, CETIM and GIMA, UniLaSalle and AGCO have been working closely together for a number of years in terms of research and training. UniLaSalle, as a polytechnic institute specializing in Life, Earth, Environment, Digital and Energy sciences, with the recent opening of its veterinary school, and AGCO as one of the world's largest tractor groups based in Beauvais.
Since 2015, they have been united by the Agri-Machinery and New Technologies Chair, along with other equipment manufacturers, and are combining their respective expertise to serve students and the agri-equipment industry, with the opening of an in-depth course for engineers and a dedicated Bachelor's degree.
The proximity of the sites, a plus in the partnership
Naturally linked by the desire to contribute to the development of tomorrow's agriculture, the two structures wanted to deepen their links in the field. UniLaSalle trains engineers who are hosted on internships or apprenticeships at the AGCO - Massey Ferguson site in order to put their knowledge into practice and participate in the development of agricultural solutions designed to meet farmers' needs. It is this complementarity that is at the heart of this partnership. The UniLaSalle campus provides ongoing training for the tractor manufacturer's employees, enabling them to deepen their understanding of their farmer customers. A real virtuous circle is thus created.
A shared desire to go further
The signing today confirms the proximity of the structures. With this partnership, UniLaSalle and AGCO intend to continue their collaboration with projects under development such as the joint organization of visits by groups of French or foreign farmers.
