UniLaSalle and its Food & Health College are partnering with the Hauts-de-France Region to obtain the "European Region of Gastronomy" label.
This distinction is awarded by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Art and Culture (IGCAT), a non-profit organization composed of more than 60 experts from the five continents.
As part of this regional candidacy, the Collège Alimentation & its teacher-researchers will be responsible for promoting the "gastronomy and health" aspect, and thus explain the virtues of a specific diet for people suffering from a pathology while combining the pleasure of eating.
As part of the selection of the future "European Region of Gastronomy", last October UniLaSalle welcomed a jury of four experts on its Beauvaisian campus and were able to appreciate the richness of its training courses resolutely focused on food and well-being.
The region designated by the IGCAT to obtain the label will be known in 2021.
