Guidance for high school students and their successful integration into higher education were at the heart of a series of roadshows across France.

The "Upstream Promotion" team went on a tour of France's Lasallian high schools to explain UniLaSalle's courses and career opportunities to students. The aim was also to inform students about the possibilities of continuing their studies after a technological baccalaureate. Some courses, such as the Bac STAV, enable students to go on to a bachelor's degree, an engineering course or even UniLaSalle's veterinary school.

On this occasion, the UniLaSalle teams, sometimes accompanied by students from the schools visited, were able to discover the facilities and assets of the high schools in the La Salle network. This was notably the case at the Lycée Saint-Christophe in Masseube, in the Gers region, where an in-depth visit of the site, meetings with the teaching staff and discussions with the students enabled them to gain a better understanding of the students' daily lives.

The high school students were also able to ask many questions of the Lasallian students who had come to accompany the school's promotion team at orientation forums. This was a valuable opportunity for exchange, enabling young people to better plan their future higher education studies. Alix, a student at UniLaSalle Rouen's veterinary school, was particularly keen to share her experience with students from her former high school.

In addition to orientation issues, the tour was an opportunity to reaffirm UniLaSalle's close ties with Lasallian high schools. From nursery school to higher education, all member establishments of the La Salle network share the same values and a pedagogy that values student commitment. These points of reference facilitate the integration of Lasallian high school students into UniLaSalle's 4 campuses.

This French tour of Lasallian high schools is part of our drive to strengthen our ties with the secondary schools in the La Salle network, with the aim of setting up orientation initiatives that will benefit everyone.

Our teams remain at the disposal of Lasallian high schools and colleges to work hand in hand. The 4 UniLaSalle campuses are also inviting guidance staff from Lasallian high schools to visit our schools in the spring.

We look forward to working closely with secondary and higher education establishments...
