Project details
A few meters from the Historic Farm of UniLaSalle Beauvais, a one-hectare plot of vines with 5,000 vines was planted on June 3, 2024.
Spearheaded for the past four years by students from the AgroTeam association (which co-manages the farm), this project to plant vines on the school's land was initiated by students from wine-growing regions and in response to the need to develop the farm.
Four grape varieties have been planted: Muscat, Chenin, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Initially, the grapes will be picked to extract grape juice, in conjunction with the FoodLab. Before being able to produce the first bottles of “Côteau du Beauvaisis” by 2029!
We are launching a major generosity campaign, “Adopt a Vine”, to raise funds for scholarships for our students. Adopt a vine plant identified by your name and geolocation and receive an adoption certificate and a bottle of wine** from the first vintage***.
*: A donation that is tax-deductible (income tax -66%, corporation tax -60%, tax on real estate wealth -75%).
