The Energy and Intelligent Buildings engineering program trains engineers capable of intervening right from the start of a building construction or renovation project to provide an optimal technical and economic response to the design, construction, regulation and maintenance of energy and comfort systems, whether in the tertiary, residential or industrial sectors..
The triple transition - energy, digital and ecological - is forcing companies and public bodies alike to respond to new challenges.
Economic, ecological and social issues are driving changes in both awareness and regulations. They are forcing building industry players to design and implement new techniques, methods and resources. We need to save energy, make greater use of new and renewable energies, and efficiently regulate, control and manage the energy of all the systems and data flows that make buildings healthy, safe and suitable for all ages.
This all-round performance of buildings is generating a growing and long-term need for new engineering skills in energy engineering and intelligent buildings.
