Master in Biosciences, Agrosciences, Ecoproduction, Plant Biotechnologies and Biovalorization (EcoBioValo)

The Master in Biosciences, Agrosciences, Ecoproduction, Plant Biotechnologies and Biovalorization (EcoBioValo) draws on the expertise of three higher education establishments (Université de Rouen Normandie, Université de Caen and UniLaSalle) to offer you cutting-edge training in the fields of ecoproduction and biovalorization.

The 2nd year of this master's degree, in its "Research" version, is open to students enrolled in UniLaSalle's Agronomy and Agro-industries engineering program. Taken concurrently with the UniLaSalle in-depth course, it leads to a double degree (students from the two partner universities will receive only the Master's degree).

The aim of this course is to broaden the professional skills of UniLaSalle students to include research methods and skills in the fields of plant physiology, plant ecophysiology, ecoproduction and crop biovalorization.

Presentation

Master's objectives

  • Acquire the latest knowledge in physiology, ecophysiology, plant biotechnologies and agronomy to meet the new challenges facing the agricultural world and the agro-industrial sector in terms of ecoproduction and biovalorization of plant and algal agroresources;
  • Acquire skills in physiology, ecophysiology/agronomy, plant biotechnologies and biovalorization of plant agro-resources;
  • Acquire skills in analyzing the molecular and cellular mechanisms associated with plant responses to biotic and environmental stresses, as well as methods and tools for diagnosing a crop's nutritional status or state of health.

Key information (Master 2 only)

  • duration of training: 1 year
  • recruitment from bac+4
  • locations: Université de Caen, Université de Rouen Normandie and UniLaSalle campus de Rouen
  • for UniLaSalle student-engineers taking this course, it leads to two diplomas: engineer and master 2
  • in partnership with Université de Rouen Normandie and Université de Caen Normandie (UniLaSalle is co-accredited for the M2)
