On Thursday 3rd October, UniLaSalle Rouen inaugurated the AGRORTECH Competence Center "dedicated to the valorization and characterization of Agro-Resources in bio-based materials".
UniLaSalle commits itself and dedicates all its actions in support of the energetic, agro-ecological, digital and food transitions of the territories with the perspectives to cope with massive challenges of the XXI century: climate change, preservation of the natural resources and territorial balances.
These societal issues challenge the research and beyond. So, there is dire need of capacity building and trainingin order to identify sustainable solutions and support sectors in their process of innovation and economic development.
To this end, UniLaSalle has just inaugurated a technological platform dedicated to the valorization of biomass and the innovation of bio-based materials.
In this regard, sustainable development is an axis on which we must focus our research and share with general public, research community and our students in academic institutions. DESIGN OTHERWISE WITH OUR RESOURCES
UniLaSalle, conducting numerous collaborative programs to link the "Industrial" and "Agricultural" worlds, aims to train various stakeholders in new sectors and to design the materials of tomorrow in the future.
This platform of innovation and training will have applications in the areas where the environmental expectations are important and on which our research units are already working: Automotive, Packaging or Building (In this respect, UniLaSalle and the Metropole Rouen Normandie coordinate the coalition of "actors" for bio-based materials "carried by COP21).
To cope with the challenges, pillar of the AMBIOS Normandy Research and Training Chair was inaugurated in 2017 While, AGRORTECH will further broaden our field of expertise and respond to the recent requirements of our clients.
Jeudi 3 octobre, UniLaSalle Rouen inaugurait le centre AGRORTECH, centre de compétences « pour la valorisation et la caractérisation des Agroressources et des Matériaux biosourcés ».
UniLaSalle s’engage et inscrit l’ensemble de ses actions dans l’accompagnement des transitions énergétiques, agro-écologiques, numérique et alimentaires des territoires en perspective des défis majeurs du 21ème siècle : changement climatique, préservation des ressources naturelles et équilibres territoriaux. Ces enjeux sociétaux interrogent la recherche et au-delà, la formation, pour identifier des solutions durables et accompagner les filières dans leur processus d’innovation et de développement économique.
À cet effet, l’école vient d’inaugurer une nouvelle structure dédiée à la valorisation des Agro-ressources et co-produits en Matériaux BIOSourcés : « Le Développement Durable est un axe que nous devons partager avec nos élèves, notre Recherche et dans nos écoles », rappelait Philippe Choquet, Directeur Général d’UniLaSalle, « Le centre AgroRTech est un projet qui va complètement dans ce sens ! ».
CONCEVOIR AUTREMENT AVEC NOS RESSOURCES
UniLaSalle, qui porte de nombreux programmes collaboratifs pour connecter les mondes « Industriel » et « Agricole », ambitionne ainsi de former les acteurs des nouvelles filières et concevoir autrement les matériaux de demain.
Cette structure innovante aura des applications dans des domaines où les attentes environnementales sont importantes et sur lesquels nos Unités de Recherche travaillent déjà : Automobile, Emballage ou encore Bâtiment (À ce titre, UniLaSalle et la Métropole Rouen Normandie coordonnent la coalition d’acteurs « construire et rénover avec les matériaux biosourcés » portée par la COP21).
Pilier de la chaire de formation et de recherche AMBIOS Normandie inaugurée en 2017, AGRORTECH permettra d’élargir notre champs de compétences et de répondre aux nouveaux besoins de nos clients.
