UniLaSalle has been awarded the "Best School Experience 2023" label, ranking 4th behind ESTIA, Ecole des Mines de Paris and Centrale Supelec among French engineering schools offering one of the best student experiences.
Questioned by Speak & Act, UniLaSalle students were able to freely express their feelings on five major themes: quality of teaching, facilities and environment, CSR approach and positive impact, school-business relations and student life and sense of belonging. This label is essential for a school such as UniLaSalle, enabling future students to project themselves in this environment.
Survey results
With its Uni4Change strategy, UniLaSalle places the well-being and personal development of its students at the heart of its priorities, and affirms a strong desire to get involved and to involve all the school's players in the ecological and societal transformation. For this reason,
• 90% of students identify with the school's values, compared with an average of only 77% in other engineering schools;
• 91% of students believe that UniLaSalle is committed to improving its social and environmental impact vs. 77% on average in other engineering schools;
• 92% of students feel they are fully aware of social and environmental issues vs. 79% on average in other engineering schools.
Student well-being is also reflected in the opportunity to develop extra-academic projects. Each year, the school supports 107 student associations in carrying out their projects and promoting their activities. As a result, 96% of students emphasize the quality of student association life and attach real importance to it (vs. 82% on average in other engineering schools).
Students recognize UniLaSalle's proximity to companies: 90% of students believe that the school enables them to develop a useful network for their career (vs. 81% in engineering schools) and 92% believe that the school offers them numerous professional opportunities (vs. 80% in engineering schools).
Overall, 92% of students are proud of their school and 94% recommend it (vs. 79% and 80% respectively on average for engineering schools).
This result in the Speak & Act ranking is the reward for a total and dedicated investment by all UniLaSalle employees.
