Our integrated preparatory program in Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences has been enriched with new possibilities, effective from the start of the school year in September 2025.
Open to students sensitive to environmental, agro-ecological and agri-food issues, this scientific preparatory program leads to 4 different engineering courses: Agronomy and Agro-industries Engineer, Agrifood and Health Engineer, Environmental Engineering Engineer and Geosciences and Environment Engineer.
While the “Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences” integrated preparatory program is built around a core curriculum of fundamental sciences, humanities, engineering tools and courses dedicated to sustainable development and social responsibility, it also offers thematic courses that vary from campus to campus.
The development planned for the start of the 2025 academic year will broaden the range of these thematic courses, giving future students new possibilities in terms of fields of study or proximity.
3 new features for the start of the academic year in September 2025
- The opening of a new thematic course dedicated to biotechnologies at UniLaSalle Rouen
- The possibility of studying agronomy at UniLaSalle Rennes as part of the integrated preparatory program
- The possibility of studying the environment at UniLaSalle Beauvais as part of the integrated preparatory program.

A new “Biotech” course on our Rouen campus
Biotechnologies could generate up to 60% of the solutions needed to meet global climate objectives by 2050. To meet these new challenges, UniLaSalle has decided to launch a new biotechnology specialization within its integrated preparatory program in Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences.
Taught on the Rouen campus, the Biotech orientation aims to explore biodiversity to develop tomorrow's biomolecules and biomaterials. This thematic course will focus on the use of digital technologies such as bioinformatics and artificial intelligence.
Future students on this pathway will position themselves as players in the energy and agricultural transition, ready to take up the challenge of innovative and virtuous re-industrialization.
The “Agronomy” and “Environment” orientations of the integrated preparatory program open up to other campuses
Agronomy in Rennes...
Studying agronomy for 2 years on the Rennes campus? Starting next year, you can! Previously dedicated exclusively to environmental sciences, our Rennes campus will now offer young Bretons the chance to take an “Agronomy” option as part of the “Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences” preparatory cycle.
The opening of this “Agronomy” orientation in Rennes offers students from the region a recognized course of study close to home, and will complement UniLaSalle's range of agricultural training courses, already offered on its Beauvais and Rouen campuses.
At the end of the two-year preparatory course, students will then join the Beauvais or Rouen campuses to pursue their engineering degree in Agronomy and Agro-industries.
... and Environment in Beauvais
In the same spirit, the “Environment” stream has been set up on our Beauvais campus as part of the “Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences” integrated preparatory program.
The location of this new preparatory course in Beauvais gives students from the Hauts-de-France and Ile-de-France regions access to high-quality environmental training closer to home.
After two years of preparatory studies, students wishing to continue their engineering studies in Environmental Engineering will have to go to Rennes, where the engineering cycle is taught.
