Details of the project 

While the veterinary market is growing strongly, there is a severe and chronic shortage of veterinary staff. It affects all sectors and is associated with a malaise in the profession that can be explained, in part, by clinical training that is insufficiently adapted to the reality of daily life and its challenges. It is therefore crucial to develop clinical training. 

UniLaSalle offers a new approach, with a strong link to the field and the support of technology. We want to invest in equipment that will enable us to:

• Simulating medical situations to learn and practise veterinary techniques,
• combining knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills;
• Staging clinical situations to recreate real or hypothetical clinical cases with simulated owners and breeders and animal simulators;
• Becoming familiar with common mistakes in order to recognize and avoid them, limit their consequences and manage them.

Supporting this ambition means supporting a resolutely innovative veterinary training program, which is necessary to meet the challenges of the veterinary world.
